A friend of mine is trying to break the tranny loose from the block of his B16A2, all the bolts have been removed....the passenger side axle won't budge and the tranny is part of the way pryed from the block, but it won't come all the way off....need suggestions on how to do this....PLEASE HELP ASAP!

 

Engine still in car? If so, have you taken off the rear mount completely off the tranny? There is also a 17mm bolt going through opposite direction as the others on the back by the engine mount.

 

sometimes the axles are a bitch to pry out, but they'll come out if you work at it. make sure you've removed the starter, and unbolted the rear mount bracket that looks like a K. that is usually what people forget to unbolt.
