i got my ecu back from precision,came home and plugged it in,and ran the two wires to the vtec solenoid.Then went on a test drive up to my bank,got on it and it was running beautiful no problems at all.Then i get home park the car,3 hours later i go to 7-11 to get milk for breakfeast in the morning and notice my car is smoking up a storm(grey) and smells like a dump truck.im trying to figure out what on earth happened to my car while it cooled down,it was running absolutely flaw-less and now its sputtering and smoking horribly.Could the ecu have friend up and killed my dizzy.I took out the ecu i got chipped and put in a stock one,unhooked the vtec wires,and now it doesnt sputter but it smokes still.

Does anyone have any ideas,i can not be without a car i work full time,which includes tomorrow!!!!!

Sounds like a bad tune. could have been running really rich and ended up fuel washing your rings.

 

your car is running rich...a little too rich!

 

the basemap washed your rings. tooo rich of a tune. shoulda got it tuned before driving on the basemap

 

its a pr3,and he said he made it so it would dump much less fuel?

change your oil now.

 

change your oil and get it tuned

 

i dont have 150 to throw out for a sohc tune

 

you shouldn't have started if you didn't have the money to finish the job correctly.
