No it doesn't. That crap may only boost your octane from 91 to maybe 93. You don't need an octane booster unless you got some real mods, and no cats...high octane(over 105) will burnout your cats.

Octane booster is a waste of money. Even if it improved in ANYWAY, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Exactly. Now if you have a turbo, blower or Nitrous, then yes it is beneficial.

That stuff is good for one thing. Run it with a full tank of gas and it will clean out all of your lines and injectors and everything, then change the fuel filter. Thats about all its good for though. An old friend of mine was pimpin' a 305 Firebird (LOL) and put that shit in it, all it did was make it smoke from the shit it was cleaning out, but he thought it made him faster.

Theres no point in ever using octane boost. The rule of thumb is to use the lowest octane fuel possible that will not yield any detonation or knock retard. Higher octane fuel burns slower so it may even hurt you somewhat (although the loss will be so miniscule). Octane is by no means a measure of how much power a particular fuel will give you, you'd need to measure the specific heat of fuel to do that.
