wow, your asking for it with that kind of question. You just spent how much on an engine, and your going to have somebody else throw it in, and you don't know your set up? Save yourself, sell your car.

here I'll throw you a bone.

seriously, anybody will tell you the best way to learn about anything is to do it yourself. I've done 3 swaps and I'm no pro but I can get my way around b16's and b18's really easy. As for set up, you need something pretty stiff up in the front to counteract the weight the H22. your going to be pretty light in the ass too because your weight ration front to rear is going to be off to. Beware of those corners at high speeds.

here is the big question, the question that means the most- how much money you got?

that is an issue also. thats why i was leaning a little more towards Gsr, ls turbo, or b16, dunno yet was just wondering what you guys thought about the h22. I know thats an assload more money. and i have seen some good results out of all of them, just dunno yet. the h22 was an idea, I dont have the motor, and just wanted some feedback. so you would just stick with the b series?? well scratch the h22 out. which outa those three would go with, i Can do those swaps easily.

h22 is cheaper than a gsr. you can get a full h22 swap for 2250 prolly. BUT your gonna need the motor mounts. Thats another chunk of change.

The h22 only weights in 30 pounds more than the b16... just for your info.

and it sounds like you need to be asking YOURSELF a lot more questions. Do you want a drag car? do you want straight line speed, do you wanna autox/road race setup? do you like all around ability? do you want a high HP dyno monster?

thanks Crate, you got to him before I did. and being an H22 guy yourself, I'll let you handle all his needs. Its all up to you bro, but ultimately it comes down to how much money you got and how much time do you have. I'm building the shit out of your motor right now to put in my CRX, and I have paid twice what a b16 would cost just to drop in.

I really want an all round car, quick straight line, im not too concerned about autox, im not into cornering really fast but i dont want it all over the road either, i dont have a very large amount of money to work with right now, i have enough easily for a b16 swap, i just dont know if i want that motor, are they reliable enough to take abuse and still drive back and forth to work?? Thats what i need also. The b16 is not my first choice but i havent eliminated it. Thanks for all your time guys. just let me know what would be best for what i just described.
