I was wondering wat peoples opions are on a H22a Turbo set up in a 92 civic are??? and what mods would need to be done in order to run good and stong?? and what the corret route is to go on with building the motor for turbo and what all needs to be done ??? lemme no pleasse thanks

Lots of cash. Parts for an H22 are expensive. When built right they are nasty. Just like any build better pistons, connecting rods are a starting point.

Piston ringlands seem to fail first, and quikly, on stock FI builds.

SEARCH is your best friend.

It mostly depends on how much money you have to spend.

yea i plan on saveing up over the begging of the winter then towards the end get all the parts all at once then continue with the build, are there any other ideas on where the best place to order or buy parts and what about the compression???

h22 turbos are nasty...i own one...and love it...the only things i dont like about it are the axles and the damn cable linkages are hard to shift...as far as compression thats really a question that requires more questions to even start to look at the answer...like what kind of gas do u plan on running, daily driven, and how to do you plan to tune it...just some...but the cars are nasty and u will love it if u do it right...and if you have any questions just let me know ive pretty much been thru it all on the h22 turbo shit...
