H22, and H23 TB sizes
for those that don't know i road race an accord with NASA. anyways i'm doing some intake work and was trying to get a hold of an h22 or h23 throttle body of which i was told were larger than the accord TB. so far i've bought one off of ebay, and looked at someone's locally and they were the same size as what is already on the accord (1994, f22b2), and parts car of the same year..
All four TBs, current racecar one, parts car, ebay one, and local guy's
inside diameter, filter side of TB
2 11/32 inches
59.53mm
inside diameter, IM side of TB
2 13/64 inches
55.95mm
(unfortunately i don't have a caliper on me for a precision measurement)
I also checked my 91 accord (PLUG: FOR SALE) which is completely stock, and....
inside diameter, filter side of TB
2 11/32 inches
59.53mm
So.....I've searched and found charts online, but i'm not sure what is actually 100% fact. Can anyone measure their h23 or h22 (specify 4th gen or 5th gen lude) TB and show your results? This would be awesome. Thanks...

Google is your friend.
It looks like if you want to go much bigger than what you have, you'll probably have to go with an aftermarket throttle body.

Re: H22, and H23 TB sizes
thanks dood!
i found that chart as well, but i on another forum there is someone who did the swap with pics of the TB and a metric ruler over top of it. stock was 60mm, h23 was 63mm. that's the only evidence i have, so i'm looking for more.

Re: H22, and H23 TB sizes
Measured the inner diameter of the filter side of the throttle body on my obd2 h22 (came out 5th gen lude).. Sry it's in centimeters but I figured it helps.. Looks like it's around 63 mm

Re: H22, and H23 TB sizes
awesome, thanks man! i'm thinking i've either been given incorrect TB's, or that maybe the 4th gen's came with a smaller one.
