2. as for the ecu and wireing, for the partof the harness that gose into the frender well, can that be cut and spliced into the new 4g63?

Re: gst motor in gs eclipse (1995)
Nobody sells mounts for this swap because the frame is different.
You would have to custom make/weld mounts, the trans and motor mount totally different, and the engine wiring is 100% different. 95 GS-Ts are cheap enough these days you might as well just buy a GS-T and save the hassle.

Haha yeah jus relized this last night about the oposit mounts and them not selling one for it. We have the resorces to cut and weld the old gst mounts to the gs. It's worth a shot. We got both car for under 2k but thanks for the reply back guys.

Listen to Dave these swaps aren't hardly worth the time but to say that you did it. Like Dave said 2g GS-T's are going for cheap these days. If anything sell your GS and buy one or turbocharge your GS.

you say you got both cars... what do you mean both cars? one GS-T and one GS? what is wrong with the GS-T that you want to swap everything?

Re: gst motor in gs eclipse (1995)
The gst was off roaded in to a tree by some high school kid. So frame is bent. Honestly we have all the tools to do the job and both cars to take the old mounts and weld them in the gs. So I'm thinking it gonna be one of those do It to say we did it things lol. We got both cars for under 2k. The gs is very clean and the gst motor runs amazing so well see how it pans out. I'll keep everyone posted with pics and updates jus incase anyone else is thinking of doing the same.
Again thanks for all who posted hah vadriven has never let me down
