stock, or do you want to do some bolt ons?

bolt on GSR> stock hype-r.

My vote is for GSR with cams, valvetrain, header and tuning.

sounds boring lol, you can get better numbers out of a stock type-r with bolt ons and tune, you should know this lol

oh yeah, what was I thinking...

fo'Rly though....If you some how put my setup on an hype-r swap, you might get like 4 more HP then me, and a red valve cover. That's $1300 well invested.

I guess you would get the LSD too, but you would still need to rebuild the transmission, just like me.

i guess thats why i just bought the whole damn car lol..are you running a stock bottom end?

i was just saying this, cause my friend dyno'd the same as I. 177whp. my car is practically stock. (shit DC 4-1 header/2.5bpipe/2.25 axle back)

he has a gsr- (buddy club stage 3 cams, skunk2 valve train, ctr pistons, smsp knock off header) it was tuned on a afc, but i guess maybe it was just a shit inline tune??

So if I swap a red valve cover, can I be cool again?

edit:nvrmnd...I forgot, I don't have enough lugs to be cool. I got plenty of red stitching though.

It's fun being on the other side of the hype-r hate.

I'm guessing too much compression, and AFC tune, I bet the tune is really conservative, and not being able to pull timing with that much compression is sorta scary...

I put down 193 with just about the same setup except I have a stock block, skunk2 stage 2, and crome tune.

I'm worried that if I stand on this engine, it will fall out of the car...Driverside mount is scary

maybe it was conservative, john from inline tuned his car. john usually tunes more aggressive i dunno, they prolly shouldve just opted out and waited for brian fisher..i think its said the skunks are better cams than bc's lol.. my old roommate has a similar setup and he dyno'd 195 i forgot about it lol.. but yeah his is simlar setup except he has the the ctr pistons and toda spec b's. im just a fan of what i got haha, for stock its not bad
