Default GSR, LS, B16?

About to get a civic. Which runs better on boost? GSR, LS, LS V-TECH or a B16. Is having V-Tech better or worse. Really thinking about building the internals of a LS motor then boosting it. I know more Nissan so some opinions?

LS is your best bet for boosting. build the bottom end, get some turbo cams and boost away....

Yeah, its gonna make more power if you boost it. An LS will be more torquey (fun burnouts) but as far as high rpm racing goes, id do a gsr or b16. Preferably gsr

uh, gsr or ls/vtec. the b16 wont have enough torque, theres a suprising difference in them, especially boosted. Any body that has had both will definately agree

The valvetrain and head of the b16 would be able to go up high rpm, but do you really thing the bottom block of a ls can keep up with the b16. Some people get the wrong idea about a ls-vtec being invincible.

if you want NA, go with the GSR, if you want boost go with the LS....

instead of fucking with vtec on boost, get the LS, with some crower turbo cams... thats what i would do. ive ridden in a setup with what ive mentioned... FAST.
