Why not higher compression and ITB's? Or your "monster" will be a sesame street monster.

With what you listed, I would guess 180ish hp to the wheels.

Well tell US what your goals are?

That way we can recommend/suggest a setup for you.

Right now, with a good header. I forsee lower 180s tuned.

I think you are setting yourself up for disapointment.

The first thing your missing is the most important thing...the Hondata.
Dollar for dollar, the Hondata is the best bang for the buck! You can build a 100k motor, but if you can't tune it you might as well gave your money to a crack whore.

As others have stated above, your bore should be increased but not totally necessary if only going for a mild biuld. And IMO stage 1 cams are for ppl who do not know what they are doing and/or not serious about building period. I'l rather have a set of CTR's than most of the so called "stage 1 cams"
You say that your head is ported? My question is by who? So many ppl say that they can port but the reality is far different! I say that if someone says that they can port, then ask that person to show you the numbers. If they can't or have an excuse, find someone else.
In engine building, all the power is in the head!

If you want a idea of what a truly fully built street motor in a CRX looks like then look at this. It's a bit old as is the scene but it still holds true.

Tbone of Honda-tech

255.9whp 165.6lbs

Dart block
GSR 87.2mm (balanced)
Ati balancer
IB spec 85mm 12.5:1 cr pistons (coated)
Endyn oil pump (ITR modified)
Moroso Oil catchcan
RLZ ported ITR head
Ferrea valves (+1mm oversized)
Buddyclub Stage 4 cams
Jenvey 48mm ITB
SMSP 2 ¾ header & 3”exhaust
580 cc injectors
MSD 6AL and coil
Hondata S200
...and I know there's more.

Last time I talked to Tom and before he started is 300whp race project, he had gotten the ITB's tuned up to 268whp.
Do ask what it will cost. These kind of motors are NEVER on a budget!!!
But if you want a figure...you can start one of these for around 8k.

That's fine...however if it was me, I would still increase bore by sleeving it and punching it out to atleast 84mm.
Then dump the stage 1 cams and get Skunk2 pro1/pro2's. I love they're cams but not their springs.

Here's what I have brewing right now...still need a Hondata and to get Dave (SMSP) to finish my header.

Bottom end
- 84.5mm sleeved GSR
- 89mm crank for 1996cc (balanced)
- 12.3:1 final compression
- custom lenght rods and pistons (balanced and coated)
- Fluidamper hermonic pulley
- ITR oil pump (upgraded)
- ARP head studs and a Cometic head gasket

Top End
- B16 Head, (ported and reworked chambers)
- Ferrea valves (+1mm intake nitrate coated)
- Eibach Springs and Crower Retainers
- Endyn Cams (still playing with cams. Pro 2's will be next)
- ITR manifold (which was ported/CFM matched to my head)
- STR 70mm Throttlebody (port matched)
- RC 440cc injectors

Other
- HONDATA S300
- SMSP B19 Headers
- MSD ignition/coil setup
- custom 5" intake system
