Default gsr cams in b16

Im going to be putting GSR cams in my b16 head. Do I set the valve lash to a GSR spec or to a B16 spec. Also, what are both specs?

Valve Clearence:
IN:0.17-0.22(0.007-0.009)
EX:0.22-0.27(0.009-0.011)

this is for b16a. not sure on the b18c1.

That's correct!

BTW...do not expect alot of power from a set of GSR cams. They are only a slight bit larger than a set of B16 cams. If you want a set of mild stage 1 cams for a stock to very mild build with little or no tuning, then a set of ITR or CTR cams would do you a Butt Ton (slightly more than a metric ton) more then that of the GSR or B16's cams.

hey thanks guys. you fucking rock. thats exactly the answer I was looking for. I know that Im not gonna get too much in terms of gains from the gsr cams. But that is fine with me because Im increasing the boost from 9lbs to 14lbs. As stupid as this sounds I dont want too much horsepower. The car needs to last me a little while. But thanks again!

Well if you don't want too much power and need the motor to last awhile then I would leave it at 9lbs.
14lbs is pushing what I'm assuming is a stock bottom end and what are you using to tune that 14lbs? If you still insist on the 14lbs, then you better get a no shit good tuner!

just my $0.02

hey thanks for looking out but the reason Im gonna run that much is because I have Inline Pro's thicker headgasket. I have done alot of talking with them and they said that they run that set up all the time and they wouldnt go any higher than 15. They do all my tuning.

It's not the head gasket that's going to fail but the pistons if you detonate. But at least you're going to have it tuned...good for you.
