no dude, you got it all wrong. what you do is, get a leaf blower, a water drain pipe, and hook it up to you intake and pull that cord and BAM!!!! 500hp to the wheels baby!
also, make sure to put rubbing alcohol into the leaf blower instead of gas, and put the gas on your legs and light yourself on fire. trust me, you will be the envy of the croud. do it.

I am reminded of a VW that was highlighted a few months ago. I thought it was pimp as hell.
