Default Grand Am rims and brake drums..

Didnt really know what to title this, so kiss my ass.

Alright I just put rims on my grand am. The front is fine, but the rear is pissing me off. They are drums in the back. I have tighten those lug nuts down so much. I dont think they will turn anymore. But the rims still move back and forth what feel like a quarter inch with out the brake drum moving. (does that make sense?) So when I drive and hit the brakes it makes a clicking and kinda shakes the car a little bit. I switched the stocks back on and it was fine. Why wont my rims push the drum down enough to lock the lugs in place???

Are they stock rims? If not, you probably need different lug nuts. What in the hell would make you want to drive a car with the wheel not seated right??/

then the rims arent flush with the drum then. sounds like the center hole in the rim is too small and wont let it make contact with the hub
