Re: got a important question....
Id say like $320 plus beer and food while doing said work. As long as he is providing a place to do it and everything you need to do said work.
Thats just my .02 cent tho

Re: got a important question....
tune up isnt that hard
but a shop charges around 400-500 for the clutch
bout 400 for springs
and brakes arent hard either
so id say around 450ish to be fair to both of you

Depends what you're actually doing. "Tune up" is a pretty broad term, that could mean doing 3 things or 25 things.

Re: got a important question....
Well the question is... What kind of car will you be working on? Im assuming a honda so id say $170 for the clutch, $130 for the springs and struts. A basic tune up $40 and brakes $60 so all in all id say $400 ish. Depending on how good of friend it is. Which is why I said $320 plus food and beer... and him providing everything needed.. but you could bump that to $350 plus everthing I said and it would still be very fair
