Default FMIC

My friend just bought a 1.8t and wante to put a front mount on it. The only intercooler pipes we can find are just hard pipes for the stock intercooler. Do you have to get the pipes custom made for a front mount or is there somewhere i can get them?

By the way how hard is it to actualy mount the intercooler?

Sory if these questions sound stupid but me and my friend are new to the turbo scene.
