Default A/F gauge all the way rich all the time.

I installed a Autometer A/f gauge and its reading all the way rich all the time. Shue tuned the car and it gets really good HW mileage but the light on the gauge never moves from all the way rich. It ever goes lean. I am damn sure it got installed correctly. Any body ever had problems like this with the gauges
Could I be just too damn RICH
btw its an 95 accord f22b1-boosted.

it's a narrow band A/F gauge.... dont expect anything from it, except a "light show". I'm sure MattShue used a wideband to tune your car... and that would be a million times more acurate. A narrow band A/F gauge is a useless tool..... not trying to offend you... just telling you what is up...

Those gauges are crap. Usually if the gauge is pegging out the ground reference is bad or there is too much noise getting induced in the signal wire. Get rid of the gauge and put something more worthwhile in it's place.

I think I am going to look into a wide band gauge.

Thanks

Guys, I don't think its the gauge, but perhaps his sensor.

I believe its the gauge wiring or something. You should at least be seeing it go full red on the gauge when you let off of the gas because the injectors go into fuel cut mode and will cause it to read full lean.

I had one in my B20Vtec Civic and I hit a pot hole one day and the gauge just went crazy. Constantly just lean to rich. I covered it with a piece of duck tape after a week of that. It was too distracting at night.
