I am looking for an exhaust for a 2000 honda civic SI. I want to open the exhaust flow up but I don't want to open the noise level up. I mean it can be a little louder but I don't want really loud. Any one have any suggestions on a brand or setup.

no it not a turbo. Just the stock is restictive. My plans are Cold Air Intake. and full exhaust; Header high flow cat and muffler. I just want one that is deep and and sounds good but not so loud i get messed with. I had a 94 B16 Hatch with header, deleted cat and put a $40 no name ebay muffler on it and I got 2 tickets cause it was too loud. I noticed a nice power gain but just too loud.

 

The 5hp you get from all those mods won't be worth the money. And certainly not worth your car sounding like shit.

 

not really worried about hp. I have a 90 crx and I went from 37-40 mpg to now 45-50 and high as 55mpg.

 

My 94 B16 hatch gained 19hp with full exhaust on a dyno. I have papers to prove.
