Exhaust Manifold Gasket..?
I just bought these headers
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
I know on the side it shows you some parts you should buy with them..well i was told these bolt on to the original gasket on the car..but i went to advanced and bought the same stock gasket but new of course and the gasket does not line up on the headers with the holes where the bolts go. Some line up and some dont..yes i flipped it around and played with it and its impossible..it fits perfectly on the header and the holes just dont line up..
Also another guy at my job said he put headers on his honda..the same exact ones and he said that he put them on without a gasket..
which hassss to be wrong...

You can put it on without a gasket, do I Recommend it? NO.
Get the stock exhaust manifold gasket, it's not like the head is ported or anything, so it doesn't matter. Advance/Napa/carquest...20 bucks max for a crush gasket.

Also, make sure you bought a header for a Single cam civic, if thats what you have, or if you bought a header for a Si dual cam civic. The bolt hole patterns ARE different.
EDIT-Looking at the P/N you provided, the header you bought is for a Si. You do have an Si, correct? The gasket you bought is it for a single cam or si?

Re: Exhaust Manifold Gasket..?
Yeah it has the DOHC...now what could happen if i don't use one?
I was watching them put the motor and everything in the computer to find the right one..they put all the right information on there. damn i would put these on tonight if i had my gasket.
I would use the gasket..some holes line up and its just 2 that line up in between 2 other bolts. Other than those it kinda lines up fine..

They also made D16's. But, I looked at the part number and it says it fits the Si. So hopefully it fits or you got a wrongly packaged header/defect

You can't always trust the computer at Advanced Auto (or any other auto parts store). I tried to get some brake pads for my car one time and I watched them put in all the correct information and everything, but it was the wrong brake pads. Good luck.
