engine degreaser
well i need a real heavy duty angine degreaser because i went to a parts store and they sugested "GUNK HEAVY DUTY ENGINE DEGREASER" and i bought 3 cans of that but that shit aint working.....i need it soon cuz i pulled my swap out because of the fact that im trying to do a "wire tuck and shave" engine bay...im not doing it to the extreme but i just want to clean it up...help me out guys

I believe with Gunk you're supposed to spray it on the motor and let it run. It's an engine degreaser not a paint cleaner. I'd say some diluted purple power or simple green and some elbow grease.

simple green ftw. half and half with water. shit rocks. get a lil scrubby brush too. post some pics when your done. good luck.

go to autoparts store, pick up a bottle of "e-z brite"its an acid, put it a spray bottle (dont concentrate, and DO NOT get it on you) and spray engine with it, let it sit for a 30seconds or so.....pressure wash off....
shit works GREAT! turns out like you got it hot tanked or something,but you have to absolutely make sure you cover all electrical stuff...
