Emissions Test on a motor swap

i need to know if a NX2000 will fail if a SR16VE Bluetop is swapped in? What do these guys look for?? is it just the gasses?

Where are you located? And I wasnt aware VA was doing emissions testing. Most places look for a cat and a muffler.

NOVA does emissions testing.

Most likely because the fact that the SR16VE does not come equipped with an EGR and a DE intake manifold will not bolt up to the port on a VE head just out of curiousity if your SR16VE normal or is it an N1?

well im sure you know someone who does inspections or knows someone that does...why do people worry about inspection? there is always someone who knows someone

A car will still pass emissions test if there isn't an EGR system. The main thing is a cat. I've had a car pass with the EGR system removed. Just make sure you're car is good and warm right before you get the test done.
