Default Emissions Help

Hey hopefully this is the right forum to put this. Ok I have a 97 civic with a b20v swap in it and has a cat.
It wont pass emissions cause im running a obd2 gsr ecu which gives me CEL for the knock senor which the b20 doesnt have.I dont know what else I can do.

So if you know anybody that can help PLEASE let me know

you need to get an ecu that is compatible with your engine. in order to pass emissions you need to eliminate the CEL as well as pass all of the I/M Monitors (catalyst, misfire, o2 sensors etc). you can buy a cheapo scan tool at any autoparts store to check your readiness monitors.

no problem. if you had an obd1 vehicle you'd just have to eliminate the CEL because you'd just have to pass a sniffer test. unfortunately for obd2 cars the entire emissions testing procedure is done through the obd2 diagnostics port.
