In domestics, the ECU wlil always throw a VSS because your ignition is on, but the engine is not and it is letting you know that (the reason your CEL will be on if you leav the key in "on" position without starting it).

Knock sensor...maybe you are truly knocking and need to up the octane or get your engine tuned.

ECT...ummm...replace the sensor. ol

That would be exactly when knock would occur...

well i found out my ect was going off because i had my reverse lights hooked up for some reason on my car when my reverse lights are hooked up to the tranny it throws that code and i also fixed the VSS by unplugging it then replugging it in and securing it the knock sensor i just reset my ecu and it hasnt gone off since but i dont feel like reseting it every time is there a way to fix it so it just doesnt work?? my freinds is grounded out but how do i do it just snip the wires and ground them out?? or do they still have to be plugged in then just like a T tap into a ground or sumshit ??

we had the same exact problem on my friends car...I just unplugged the reverse lights on the transmission... That fixed all the codes... I should have rewired new lights for the reverse switch but i'm too lazy... I don't persay need reverse lights... i rather rewire the reverse lights instead of trying to rewire the coolant wires...
