Ebay Parts?
One of my friends has a Ebay turbo kit and he can't be any happier with it. It's a wet float ball bearing turbo, it's been reliable to him and damn if it doesn't pull strong! The bov's are cheap and will fail, but hey. Ebay is a good starter kit and you can upgrade accordingly.
Seen an ebay kit make over 300hp on a stock gsr. They're a decent starting point but you would def want to upgrade as DOHC crx VTEC said.Or just wait and piece together a kit with quality parts instead.
atleast get a ssautochrome kit, there stuff is good for the price. all there stuff actually works good, alot of people say there turbos are crap but since then they switched companies, and make nicer ones now

i put one of those on an ls. the bitch pulled very strong on 10psi, very strong. only problem was the manifold fell apart 3 days later, had to send it back, the same thing happened again.finally they just refunded the money for the manifold and the guy bought a blox cast iron one that worked out very well. the kit was supposed to be a/c compatible but it wasnt at all. the intercooler and the i/c piping were bought seperate and were actually pretty nice and fit very well. the bov was crap as everyone knows. and the wastegate spiked sometimes but thats kind of expected. for the money i would say its not too bad if your willing to put up with some things going wrong but i would personally piece together a kit if i bought it off ebay and try to stick with the more brand name stuff. the turbo is still running strong off that kit though and it was more than 8 months ago.
ive bought plenty of stuff for my past cars and my present car off ebay. some brand name, some not. so far i havent really had any problems with the off brand stuff, its been stuff like brake rotors, brake lines, and sway and strut bars and such and interior stuff. i wouldnt buy anything super important off brand stuf like a set of obx pistons and rods or cams or ssautochrome valvetrain. i just dont have the confidence in the ebay made brands yet.

I bought an ssautochrome kit last december... Still running strong on 11psi and my manifold has held up just fine... The newer SS manifolds come braced from the factory so I doubt there will be a problem with that...
I love the kit, and I would definately buy the same one again if I had to...
A few things about the kit that need attention... Everything is so simple to fix, it is well worth the price...
The downpipe was too long. I had to take it to a muffler shop and have a section cut out of it to shorten it... But I guess thats a 20 dollar fix...
The oil pressure line was too long, it makes no difference really, I just had to route it all around my intake manifold to make it look better...
The ssautochrome missing link they gave me sucked, but trust me... If you boost your car, get engine management! It is well worth it, and it if you know how to solder/desolder it can be cheaper than buying an FMU and missing link!
The blowoff valve sometimes loosens up and you have to go back and retighten the little nuts on the flange... It doesnt leak, but it's annoying... Just use some locktite or teflon tape and it will solve the problem...
The little allen bolts INSIDE the wastegate will loosen up if you don't put locktite or teflon tape around the threads, which will cause a boost spike... After I fixed them, I havent had a single problem with spiking...
The dump tube they gave me wouldnt let me keep my ac, but the ac was burned up anyway... If you want to keep ac you will need to have a dump tube bent for you...
That's about all I can think of...

i buy parts off ebay one thing to keep in mind...if it has ball bearings or if it has internal moving parts absolutely do not go that route but for exhausts headers intakes and things like that youre safe as anything just know what youre doing on ebay... and as soon as you get your part examine every bit of it... the things i buy i go obx racing on... if youre buying from the right guy you get the full warranty on the part so either way youre fine...everything i have gotten from obx served me well
Bought the exact same intercooler kit and all i have to say is i hope you have a dremel or some type of cutting tool. There are enough pipes and bent nice but they are a little too long. Oh and i still had to buy a couple of 90 and 45 degree bends from home depot.
