does anyone know about swapping a v12 into a e36? Im thinking about doing this and would like to find some info on it. thanx

dunno about a v12, but if you wanted to know about a s52 or s50 swap then i could give ya a few pointers.... i'm at work now but when i get home tonight i'll try to dig up some v12 swap websites

unless your a good custom fabricater, i dont think this project will work and pretty sure its never been done, the biggest i've seen is people putting v8s in the e36

i have no prob fabing. i was just curious about the wiring. as far as the swap goes, its been done several times on the e36 and e30... its the whole wiring thing though...

ok, your right, it has been done, just a quick search i found people putting the m70/m73 in the e36, looks pretty crazy, I think the wiring part would be the easier part if you have the correct wiring harness that goes with the engine. You might get a better response trying to find information on like bimmerforums.com or something

yea i found some info on there, i think before i go through all the hassle of the v12 ill just go w/ a vette swap.
