The car has been driven never saw boost over 1lbs maybe ...The line is about bone dry ...Something its def wrong here. The car wont boost ...Has very low vaccuum ...and Now a dry return line ...Please xplain. I bought the kit used off here .

 

how long had the car been sitting before you checked it?.......my return line wouldnt have oil in it after it sat for a few minutes, nothing would come out of it if thats what your referring to as dry, now if it looks like oil has never been flown through it, that could be a different issue....

 

It looks as thhough it couldve been flwoing through it but also that could be from the previous owner. I dunno. Im just tired of messing with this damn thing it seems like. Ive never in my life had so many problems putting a turbo kit on.

 

pull the feed line off and blow through it. if you cant, it's because it's blocked. pull the return line off and pour a little oil into the feed inlet and see if it flows through the turbo...if no, it's blocked.

what do you mean by low vacuum btw?

 

Im only pulling -15hg where I should be pulling -20 to -22 hg .

 

do you have an electric boost gauge?

 

your not leaking oil are you? did you T off the back of the block or use a sandwich adapter plate? is your feed line block? is anything in the turbo built up? i mean you just have to trace down everything that could be wrong and pull it apart. That is why i buy new lines when i do something like this i don't trust what other people have done.

 

is be maybe have siezed turbo? it would make since no boost and return line dry.

 

Ok guys here some more info. I just got the RIGHT oil line feed kit ...My older oil feed kit was leaky and barely in! Could that anyway cause bad vaccuum ?? Also the turbo spins freely and has no shaft play what so ever. Thanks
