Default Driverside Wheel Click

My good friend has a Ford Aspire. When driving, his front driverside wheel clicks VERY loud. Happens when turning both ways and driving in a straight line, all are the same loudness.

It happens on every revolution of the wheel turning, slower when going slow(and lasting longer while slower), faster when going fast(subsequently quicker click while faster), it is that same loudness at all speeds also.

Brakes feel fine and stop the car sufficiently.

Any suggestions? I said it was the CV boot, but I'm far from a mechanic.

Yeah, boot probably busted and the axle is now clicking. It's not something you want to ignore but you should be fine on it for a while. That is if it is a constant clicking when turning the wheel while rolling. If it is a loud pop then it's probably your ball joint.

Tighten your lugs nuts, before your wheel falls off. When my friend talked to a mechanic a few weeks ago, they said it would only 'click' while turning, IF it was the CV axles. They checked his shit and the his wheel looked ready to come off.

I don't really know either, but it wouldn't hurt to check.
