Default down pipe ?

i have a 96 eclipse gst.....i want to add a down pipe with a high flo cat.....is there one that will run to where the stock cat is located, because the apex downpipe runs thru where the cat would be (eliminating basically) but i wanna have the high flo cat for legal reasons. does it matter how far down the exhaust pipping the cat is located?? any suggestions or comments would be great. i think my ? may have come out wierd but any input would help, thanx in advance

lotsa places make downpipes

cheapest I can think of is rnr. I've got some custom made parts from them. Some of the welds needed to be cleaned up but that's an easy task. For the price though, couldn't beat it.

If you want no frills go with rre...they're exspensive but they don't fool around.

You might want to look into an o2 eliminator downpipe too.

Putting the cat in a different location isn't a good idea.

Anyway, just to re-iterate, TONS of options out there as far as downpipes go.
