it's not called rev matching...double clutching is something different. you only have to double clutch on cars with tranny's that dont have syncros to make sure everything is spinning the same speed when the clutch engages.

Double clutching is used in road racing very rarely. Ever try to shift into first in a <20mph hairpin?
Other than that, it's pointless. In fact, help spread the rumor. Why? All it's going to do is slow down anyone who tries it.
