DO I NEED an hondata S300 or equal
Ok this is my set up and i was wandering if I HAVE to have an ECU upgrade to run it or can i temp run it w/o it
95 GSR
B18C1
CP pistons 81MM 11.5:1
Eagle Rods
GSR crank
ITR water and Oil Pump
GSR Head
stage 2 cams (havent decided which brand to go with but plan or a semi race street aggressive cam)
Crower valvetrain(valves, retainers, springs)
Basically wanna know if i can drop it in with out an ECU up grade...i know i wont get the full power until i do ...but my stock motor just blow up and i've got to do the swap soon now

You'll be fine with a stock ECU until you can get tuned. Nothing that you have for mods is really out of the safe range of the stock ECU, but you don't know how well the ECU will run it under all conditions. So you should be fine, but use your discretion until you can get tuned.

You might want to go larger because of the extra power, yes. Do it when you get tuned though, and not before. Just use your discretion and keep your foot out of it until you get tuned, that's the best insurance policy.
Get some 310cc's if you plan to make over 200whp.
Also get a fuel pump aswell, stock honda ones can't really keep up.
Do NOT put the injectors in untill you are at the dyno and ready to tune the car.
Hondata S300 is really nice, but a simple chipped ecu with crome is all you need.
Pick your tuner, then see what software they like to tune.
