Default dizzy question

i put a friends itr dizzy on my bone stock b16a while we were testing dizzys and making sure my dizzy was the problem..
the itr dizzy seemed to hit vtec in my car (b16a) much harder than the b16 dizzy
this maybe a dumb question but is there much of a difference in the 2 distributors?

Not unless your distributor has something wrong with it. It's more likely that your distributor was slightly turned so the mechanical (base) timing is off, or that the ITR distributor is slightly advanced.

Did you use the same cap and rotor?

well the type r cap is slightly larger than the b16 distributor, we at first tried his cap and it was larger and wouldnt fit at all.
you mean the small wing nut looking thing that goes to the intake cam?
