Default dip stick (retarded question)

When we finished up my JDM B20b swap into my 99 Honda Civic. My buddy said that the b20 dip stick wasnt going to read right. He said when he had a b20b swapped into his car that they had to cut and weld it to make it read correctly?

My question is, can I use and B series dip stick for my car? Aswell as the tube that holds it?

yes you can use the dip stick and tube for that motor.

I would have tried that, but as previously stated I don't have the stock b20b dipstick anymore. This is why I'm asking if any B-series dip stick will work.

I'm fairly sure that any would work, I really wouldnt see why there would be any difference. I just wanted to make sure for sure.

Pull the tube from your b18 motor.

The tube and the actual stick.

Insert new tube with a bit of honda bond on it and tap it in with a rubber mallet.
