D16z6 intake
How can you tell a D16z6 intake from other intakes? I have couple laying around and I don't know what is what. I am told D16z6 flow the best.

Re: D16z6 intake
a p28 intake manifold? i think p28 is stamped somewhere on the back of it, just look at some picture online, it looks quite different from a y8 IM. however its most definitely not worth your time to swap to a z6 if you are already running a y8.....

Re: D16z6 intake
The one I have on their now, that came with my D16z6, is wierd as hell. It has no place for a IATS and a couple of other lines don't hook up.

Re: D16z6 intake
hmm, maybe its a cx manifold or something....odd. yeah grab a p28 manifold but make sure its a 5 spd one, i think the auto ones are a little diff in the back as far as a couple of vacuum lines go...

Re: D16z6 intake
hey i have a y-8 intake manifold with a gs-r throttle body....and there is nothing different about a 92-95 single cam intake unless it's a cx or vx intake manifold....but the best one to use is the y-8 intake

Re: D16z6 intake
you would know if it was a cx manifold it would have a really small plenum and it also has a really small throttle body
