D16Z6 installation questions
I'm replacing the mini me(z6 head, y8 block) swap in my 95 civic ex, it spun a bearing last year and has been sitting in my garage. I'm looking into purchasing an newer z6 from J-spec auto or Tiger Japanese. This will be my first engine swap, will the replacement engine from J-spec/tiger go right in without any modifications and fit to the y8 tranny? Or, will I have to exchange and modify certain parts because one is JDM and the other is USDM?
I've contacted both places about this but I figured I'd also post it here to see what you all have to say. Also, are theses two places reputable?

Re: D16Z6 installation questions
From the product description on their site, it is a JDM engine. They have it listed as a d16z6(ZC) and after reading around online the ZC is a JDM engine. I've read that they are the pretty much same engines, my main question is will have to exchange any parts from my current engine, ie; distributor, IM..etc or will I be able to just drop on the new motor and drive it. I'm traveling all the way to New Orleans to get my car and driving back so I didn't want any surprise once I had a new engine in it.

NasTHatch said it best bro... Go b-series. that D is junk and I know if you do that swap you are not going to replace the parts in the block so you are gonna kill something down the road. Go b-18
