d16 dizzy

Will a d16y7 dizzy work on a d16y5?

really depends on the year. but yes they will. only the vtec-e has a different distributor

Ok its a boosted 2000 civic Hx converted to OBD1 with a p28 on crome with a narowband O2 conversion. Shouldn't it be ok to run an EX dizzy since i have an EX ecu controling the spark?

Yup, and a replacement cost about 400 bucks.
