D16-->b16?
Alright, so this may sound really stupid, but I guess that's how it goes.
I've got a 94 del sol si, its got a d16, so its single overhead cam vtec. I wanted to know if i could swap in a b16 head, rather than an entire b16 engine. IF this is possible, what am I going to need aside from the head? If not..well, I tried. I tried.

Thats not going to work.
The b16 will though. More swap information and all the other honda stuff in between and more can be found here: hondaswap.com
Reasearch the cost of building your sohc vtec vs. a swap... are you seeking just more power? Or do you want the b16 because of the better qualities from the dohc? You can make your sohc fast as or faster than a b16. However the b series engines are excellent motors IMO. But ive also seen fast sohc....they are good as well and cheaper if you break something parts are everywhere and less expensive....ive seen whole y8 swaps for 400$ the tranny for the b16 is more than that from an engine importer.
Do your research.

If you want best bang for the buck, boost it? I'm currently Sohc turbo and I love it, but I'm going B16 turbo for more power plus I'm getting a hell of a deal from HMO Through my shop.

Boost it! If you really have your heart set on B16 performance though, it's a direct swap in your car, and all the parts you need are available from a stock VTEC del Sol.
The cheap fun is a boosted D16 though, since you already have that it will be cheaper than a swap and more power overall. Not as fun as a boosted B16, but then that's a lot more money.
