ok so now what i need to know is what exactly I will need to make this happen i am swaping a d16y8 into a 93 civic CX HB...need all applications that will be needed to make this swap run...hit me back

go to honda-tech.com ... then go to eg+civics/del sol forum....go through the faqs and see what all you need...as far as putting the motor in...it drops right in...but you will need to get the ecu and a OBD 2 to OBD 1 wiring conversion...if i was you i would get a D16z6 and a P28 and use stock wiring harness...then just wire up vtec solenoid and sensor, and knock sensor to ecu...and your done...you can find D16z6 swaps for around 500$...but check out that site...it goes into details about all kinds of stuff...later

Help much aprectiated, D16Z6 was a 1st option, but what I have in my garage for free is a D16Y8, doing nothing except collecting dust...
