Default d series turbo help

sort of turbo noob so bare with me please.

1) when you are lookin' for a downpipe do you reference it to, what motor its for? the size of the turbo? or, what do i reference it to?

in my situation, i have a .57 trim turbo on a d16z6. and its running an open downpipe right now. 2.5'' 5-bolt application.

the problem. i dont like open downpipe, so i got a bosal cat, but ..the holes don't line up for me to bolt up the cat. the holes on the cat are closer together, so maybe only about half of each bolt hole lines up with each other from the downpipe to the cat.

do i need to get a different downpipe? or what can i do?

my car's up on my lift in herndon, so any help would be great. thanks in advance.

umm def take it to any exhaust shop and they can just cut and weld a new flange onto it and it will bolt right up.
