Default d-series clutch?

is the hyd. and cable clutch the same for d-series or different ive been told they are and others say they are not which is it

I don't think the actual clutch application is different. It's just the mechanisim that moves the throwout bearing, the routing and the pedal that is different.

so i can take a cable clutch an pressure plat and use in hyd trans

91+ hydro/cable is the same. It may be 90+ but I know for a fact that 91+ is correct.

88 was the only one that had a actual different clutch, was smaller in diameter and 1 spline less.

The only other differences between D series cable clutch's is the diameter, I believe the CRX SI clutch was slightly larger in diameter than the Civic.
