maybe if you have a mass air flow sensor on your stock intake. then you have to get that put onto the new one. that's the only thing i can think of that will make a CEL go off.

if you have a MAF you need a MAF adapter so you can put a filter on. and yes you need a filter, unless you want dirt to get into your engine.

it's better not to put a breather on there. (ppl will fight to death that it don't matter but each to your own) the intake should come w/ a hose that will connect from the VC to the intake.

^^^ yeah, as long as you have it hooked up to the intake you don't need one. other wise you do NEED to put one on there. IMO just keep it hooked up to the intake.

i want to do this but im just not gonna have any piping so , i do have to have the little air breather on that hose that was connected to the original airbox tude correct?
