Anybody have a link that explains this subject. I have heard of evo guys switching from the stock plastic one, to the 1g, but I can't figure out the crushing thing. It just sounds wierd to buy a new part and then "crush" it to make it perform better.
you can buy crushed ones from places. if im not mistaken www.machv.com....or not. i know someone sells them. may have them. i remember one of my dsm parts sites atleast. had them. and as far as the info on them try looking at www.vfaq.com

so it wont fix the boost leak problem either? When I go full throttle it opens prematurely and the car stutters and runs like crap. The 4g61t guys said that i need to crush it in order for it to stop making my car studder.
