crank spins but not the balencer
 
94 honda acoord 2.2 16 valve you can see the crank bolt spin but non of the accery drives timing belt spins and motor runs stron is this an easy fix

havnt looked that far yet its dark outside now ill find out in the am... is tha comon on a honda to shere off a key

broken key or a broken crank. if the woodruf key just sheared off, thats an easy fix.

bbuuttt, more than likely the pulley was loose and it walked back and forth over time, wearing a chunk out of the crank. if that is the case you will have to pull the motor and fix the crank or replace the crank depending on the damage. pull the pulley and inspect.

did you recently have a timing belt or any work done to that side of the engine?

u know, i hope nothing major is wrong with your engine, but fuck, is too hard to type with a little puncuation? i mean really. im not asking for everything to be perfect and whatnot, but like, not a single puncuation mark was used during the whole statement. im not a spelling nazi or anything, but at least try.
