crank angle and position sensor
can those two sensors stop a car from reving over 2500
im in the process of converting to mpfi and and those two sensors are giving me trouble so i was wondering if thats is whats stoping me from reving over 2500
i thought it was tps but i changed intake manifolds and throttle bodys and its still doing it

If you have major sensor problems, the ECU will go into limp home mode and will rev limit to low RPM. I'm not sure what the OBD0 limp home rev limit is, but it's generally 3500 RPM for OBD1 and I think OBD2 also. So this is probably your problem. The crank and cylinder position sensors are both critical for proper engine operation.
