Default Compression test results Are they normal?

I ran a compression test on my b16a2 with 77k on the motor and i have the car for seven years and it read

220
220
225
230

but when we added a little oil in the spark plug area it read 230 across the board.

With these readings does this mean the motor is running strong?

yeah, those are pretty strong/even #'s. I dunno the spec for that particular motor but it looks really healthy.

the oil making it read higher is just from the increase of compression it causes! If you have low (which you for sure don't!) readings putting oil in it makes you able to tell if it is rings or not.
