Question Cleaning your intercooler?!?!

Hey,

Just had some questions on the best way to clean the outside of your intercooler.. I have a 33inch long FMIC and its starting to get really dirty. Just wondering if there is a chemical treatment or special polish to help bring back the shine. Also. what methods do you FI guys n gals reccomend? Besides some elbow grease

theres this purple degreaser that works real well (i wanna say castrol makes it.. but not sure) ... that + power washer should do the trick.

why not paint it black? ;-)

BE VERY CAREFULL if you use a powerwasher....... it will bend the fins on your I/C. I've seen where freinds have done it before....

i've seen the HIGH powered ones at car washes bend the fins from like 4-5 feet away.

do NOT paint the intercooler. it reduces the efficiency of heat transfer.
