Civic swap
OK, heres my problem. Ive blew the motor in my 00 civic ex. (d16y8). I need to know some good resources for swap kits and such. Most importantly, what motors will fit in my car? Ive heard so many answers and Im really sick of all the unsure answers. I need this car fixed before december and need to come up with a plan. Interested in helping? I believe I could find some cash for anybody who would like to give me a hand at this once I get a good game plan. My budget isnt too tight and Im looking to at least go with a DOHC. B18? B20? H22? K20? HELP ME!

Re: Civic swap
Anything is possible...B-series is going to be the easiest/least expensive. Next in line is H-series, followed by K-series. B-series is the way to go unless you have some serious cash to spend, and probably the best idea for you if you are planning on doing the swap yourself and have never done one. I'm always willing to help, shoot me a PM if you need anything.

All the engine combinations you would shake a stick at, and pretty detailed instructions, as well as every part combination you will need to do each swap they list.
