probably a couple of fuses or jus the wiring to the car...a friend of mines car was like that a couple of days ago and i told him to check his wiring and his fuses and shure enuff it was the wiring and fuses

i like the suggestion that it may be speed sensor related. double check to make sure it's properly plugged in. you may want to switch it with the one off your old transmission to confirm.
when your ecu spits out a cel, it'll store a malfunction code for you to retrieve later - as long as you don't reset the ecu. if you've seen that light flash, there may be more information available from your car.

thanks for all the info, yea im thinking its the speed sensor myself and maybe a fuse or two, i guess we'll see, ill exchange them tomorrow and post again. thanks,

do u know if it's obdII or I? autozone does obdII for free. but speed sensor sounds right as for the headlight problem sound like a faulty or improperly sized fuse

not sure if 92-95 are all the same if so then it would be obd1, and about the ground connection on the tranny i was just thinking about that myself, ill check it as soon as i get home, thanks
