Post Chrysler Guys

Any help on the 89-90 Turbo SOHC vans and swapping to my 1984 5-Speed van. I think the transmissions are different on both. I've been told that any FWD vehical from Chrysler can be used for parts onto another FWD Chrysler. Is that true? If anyone knows of anyone that has done this and can help me out, let me know. I know I'm going to have to do some wiring and replace the tank and pump. Anything on building the motor and my 5-Speed trans(or replace with a stronger one), or just a good rebuild on both. Parts are kinda hard to come buy, anyone know where I can order parts? Any help is appreciated.

why not just buy a '90 turbo van instead? seems like the labor swapping motors and getting everything to work right would be more trouble than the car is worth

Very true, only problem is I already have a mini-v, and this one is a 5-speed.. anything after I think 87-88 is all auto.. If I can chirp 2nd loud in my mini-v now, turbo would be such a beast. The work I'm not worried about, it's all Mopar and the parts are easy to come by. I just need someone to bounce ideas off of ya know?

Well hey, if your a Dodge guy then maybe I could get some help with just the motor build? I don't want to get any loud ricey exhaust or a real loud B.O.V. This is going to be a good sleeper, anything you can help with Mopar let me know. Thx.
