check engine codes driving me crazy
i am throwing two different code in my daily driver its a boosted b16 didnt have any code problems till boosted/tuned, i am throwing a intake air temp sensor code and a cylinder one position senser. was told the second code was something in the dizzy. not sure though. the codes will go away when engine is up to temp but sometimes come back but normally can cycle key when moving and will go away. I have switched out the intake air temp sensor and it went away i thought but the codes are hard codes at start up till warm up. tryed taking negative off same results im at a total lost im thinking its in the tune its in my option a shitty steet tune?????? Any ideas????

the cylinder position sensor is in the dizzy. if you continue to throw CIL then make sure that the resistance is correct on the connectors....

The cylinder position sensor doesn't have anything to do with the tune, either it works or it doesn't. That may need to be replaced (with the rest of the distributor usually), but I would point you toward the wiring first. It's very possible to have an intermittent wiring problem that could make the sensor signal drop in and out instead of being completely failed or completely good.
The intake air temp sensor may be a wiring issue, or a damaged ECU if you're getting the same problem after replacing it. Being a swapped engine I would always look at the wiring first, as that is often really badly executed.
