Default car not running right

i have a 92 eclipse thats been sitting for about a year because i blew the head gasket and haven't really worked on it. well i eventually replaced the head gasket and the car does run but it feels like it's not going anywhere when im driving. It feel's like it won't go past 50mph. it has a new tranny, new right axel, new master cylinder, new altenator, new fuel pump and fuel filter, and i did a compression test and it was basically 140 all around. I'm starting to think that the cat might be clogged. if anyone has any suggestions on what could be the problem besides the fact that its a mitsubishi let me know...

You're actually using the gas that has been sitting in there for a year..??

I'm more interested in the fact that the car even started..
