car moves clutch burns
when i hold the clutch down as far as it will go, i rev up to about 4800 or 5g, the car starts to move without disengaging the clutch ...i tried adjusting the pushrod behind the clutch pedal...unscrewed it all the way till it released..screwed it on about 2 and a half turns...and it still moves up...when i rev it burns the clutch really bad...what could be the problem?

throwout fork not disengaging, throw out bearing sticking due to lack of lubrication causing the fork to not disengage all the way, is your car hydraulic or cable?.... and how fast does the car start to move?.........im just throwing out some ideas, its jsut sounds like your clutch isnt disengagin and those are the main elements that control your clutch system........

At least you have reverse again John. You're welcome. j/k.
Anyway, you did post this on Supraforums first right? What did mkiv say about the possible disk being in backwards deal?

check clutch pedal play first...then go from there and check what more impatient said.
also need to know if its hydraulic, cable, or shaft and lever
what kind of clutch disc...coil spring or diaphram?

My friend says that the new clutch that was installed was not bleeded correctly and that i need to replace my slave cylinder. Is this the case because i don't want to buy a whole new slave cylinder and pay for labor when it won't solve the problem.
